Behind Wrinkle are Eddy and Astrid Sykes, a Detroit meets Paris couple based in  Mexico City since 2019, that Combined their forces and expertises to start their design practice. 

The work has always been about the refinement of the idea through execution and the act of  fabrication, but craft alone is not what they would consider their primary identity. Their patterns of problem solving have evolved in much the same way as their marriage/partnership has, to the extent that the banality of daily life is as powerful and relevant as the euphoria of making a great environment or solving a concept through art.
