ROBIN WHITEMAN SPOT

Inspired by her relationship with animals, religious iconography, and childhood passions, as well as a long term relationship with clay, Robin wanted her work to be a source of quiet wonder and approach her studio work with a spiritual discipline.

    

She begins with an image that arises, and the work becomes like a discussion with whatever is becoming.  Small changes take place over time so she often has many sculptures going at once to allow them all to develop slowly.
